$55k-$75k DOE General FunctionSupport AFCENT/A3 Plans & Programs (A3TX) personnel in response to routine suspenses and staff inquiries.
Major Activities (Typical Duties/Responsibilities) 1.
Provide staff training and readiness program manager support as defined in AFI 13-103.
2.
Provide USAF readiness training program support as defined in AFI 10-405.
3.
Support USAF force generation mission essential task list training, reporting, and unit deployment certification.
4.
Provide back-up support to the 9 AF (AFCENT) staff training course production.
5.
Provide analysis of staff training supporting development of 9 AF (AFCENT) supplement to AFI 13-103.
6.
Provide white cell capability to evaluate/support unit/staff/composite training events/exercises led by contingency action team, AEWs, AFCENT/A5, and AFCENT Air Warfare Center (AWC).
7.
Provide administrative support to 9 AF (AFCENT)/A3T courses and training seminars as required.
8.
Assist in the development, for government production and distribution, of written documentation which enhance the understanding of 9 AF (AFCENT) HHQ staff training reports, semi-annual staff training effectiveness board, and support USAF required advanced deployment training guidance letter development.
9.
Maintain certification as a back-up instructor for all staff training courses offered by A3T.
10.
Routinely coordinate with external agencies as required, to include HAF, MAJCOMs, CENTCOM and CENTCOM Components, Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC), AFCENT AEWs, AFCENT AWC, other AFCENT Directorates, and other units and agencies.
11.
Maintain currency as the AFCENT AFFOR training support by identifying and attending applicable training conferences and formal schools that discuss/teach current/evolving skillsets that would support the above activities with approval of the A3T.
12.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Abilities Computer Skills:
Strong minimum 3 years' experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications to include Access database, e-mail system, and Task Management Tool (TMT) or the equivalent.
Training and experience with SharePoint site administration.
Consistent attendance, punctuality and work performance are required.
Drug Screen and Background Check:
pass with ability to maintain throughout employment Must be team oriented and able to work unsupervised.
DOD Secret Security Clearance is required for this position.
Minimum Education & Experience Minimum 5 years' experience in a Component-Numbered AF or HHQ staff position with 1 year experience in Instructional System Design (ISD) experience and staff officer functions, to include, task management, conducting briefings, and writing staff papers.
Must have Air Power experience at the Operational level of war (Component level or higher).
It is strongly desired that this experience includes the following, developing staff administrative standard operating procedures, facilitating completion of USAF advanced readiness-training requirements, providing consequence management of contingency action team support, and possess a previous CAOC Platform Instruction certification is highly desired.
