com Airfield Pavements Planning Manager Provide Advisory & Assistance Services (A&AS) to support the 9AF (AFCENT) A4 installation Shaw AFB with Temporary Duty Assignments in worldwide locations where AFCENT does businessDuties and Responsibilitieso Creates/maintains database on airfield pavement conditions in AOR via Airfield Pavements Evaluation (APE) team coordination.
o Evaluates Requests for Information (RFIs) pertaining to Airfield Pavements, as well as Request for Forces (RFFs) and Requests for Support (RFSs) for contingency operations at airfields in the AOR.
o Serving as a reach back/project forecasting expert for Airfield Pavements.
o Performs task associated with AFI 32-1001 as Airfield Pavements Sub-AMP, developing the FYDP+3 for airfield pavementsQualificationso Civil Engineering Bachelor's degree with five (5) years' experience in Airfield Pavements, including construction, planning programming and maintenance in accordance with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), eight (8) years' with Air Force Civil Engineering, or other component Facility/ Infrastructure engineering management, two (2) years' experience leading people.
o Strong writing skills and being capable of effectively operating as a member of an engineering or joint discipline teamStrong briefing skills and being capable of effective communication.
o Must have experience and working knowledge of the following programs and systems within the last three (3) years:
Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access), and SIPR Access.
