$75K-$79KGeneral FunctionProvides operational subject matter expertise for database management of Air Order of BattleDatabase (AOBD) and Tactical Information (TACINFO).
Provides overarching requirementsanalysis and operational support to AOC Combat Plans, Operations, Air Mobility and ISRDivisions for AOC and deployed Coalition Air Operations Center (CAOC) personnel.
Level ofeffort for all of the following is daily, with increased focus of effort 4-6 weeks prior to 3-4 majorexercises per year.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
1.
Provide operational management of AOC database requirements as applicable toapplications supporting AOC planning and offensive execution functions and interactionswith intelligence functions, especially target planning.
2.
Manage Air Order of Battle Database (AOBD) and Tactical Information (TACINFO)standards; coordinate AF/Joint/Allied/Coalition friendly order of battle inputs to ensurestandards are maintained.
3.
Facilitate other service C2 data exchange via applications or established Interface ControlDocument (ICD) standards.
4.
Develop functional checklists to assist operators with managing and using AOC databasecapabilities.
5.
Identify and define future AOC Weapon System requirements.
6.
Participate in operational planning, fielding verification and validation of AOC upgradesand modifications.
7.
Participate in DT&E and OT&E as Database Manager.
8.
Provide mentorship to newly assigned AOC personnel to include the proper managementand access of AOC database information.
9.
Collaborate with local AOC Training Managers as necessary to ensure MQT and CombatMission Readiness (CMR) requirements and instruction are accurate and reflect AOCdatabase management functions, configurations, technologies and support responsibilities.
10.
Provide specialized training on Combat Plans and Operations applications as required.
11.
Travel in support of operations in support of war, contingency and humanitarianoperations, exercises and experiments that may require CONUS and OCONUS travel.
12.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills/AbilitiesoDrug Screen and Background Check:
Pass with the ability to maintain throughoutemployment.
oTSI/SCI Clearance Required.
oCompletion of formal AOC FTU Course or equivalent.
oDemonstrated knowledge and experience of AOC C2 of air assets in joint and combinedoperations.
Minimum
Experience:
oBachelor's degree or five years of experience with the Air Operations Center or TheaterAir Control System required.
oThree years of experience working with AOC combat plans and combat operationsapplications and management of AOBD and TACINFO.
oParticipation in AOC exercises or operations as a Database Manager for Combat Plans orOperations Division.
Real world contingency experience is highly desired.
oExperience supporting AOC operations within classified environments to include SIPRNetand JWICS.
oThree years of experience on USAFCENT, NAF or other service equivalent staff.
